plx COMMENT it >.<

elo everyone...thanks for visiting my blog~can plx do me a favor..i'm doing a survey..cannot say survey la juz need ur comment to improve my icon lo..hmm..so..plx drop down a comment or u oso can write on the --> chat box~thanks for ur help^^
so..below this is what i have done on my digital design in multimedia subject..is actually a pixel and vector icon design..so...plx comment it and answer my following question~ XD

so..this is PIXEL ICON..






and this is VECTOR ICON..













so..lets start the questionnaire time..

1)what is the theme that first come in to your mind?

2)can you recognise what is the icon do I made?

a. can for both
b. can just pixel
c. can just vector
d. cannot...(so what do you see at your 1st seen?)

3)how does the finishing of my pixel icon design?

    Haha...i will be the FIRST too! =p

    1) turtle
    2) the contacts (pixel+vector) are recognizable compare to the Home one...but when its in pixel form..then it look hard to recognize especially contact...nid to go nearer to figure it out..heee...
    3) pixel...cant really know that is contact...
    4)erm..finishing..overall look good and neat..but somehow feel little weird with the envelope/msg part...
    5)colour seem not bad too =)
    6) maybe enhance more in highlight or shadow part? i think can apply the effect and skill of the Glossy icon that we've learned..it would be nicer thou =D
    for the home...kinda hard to recognize ...maybe add on a door?? haha..up to u..

    2. the vector contact can recognise easily..mayb because it is big..can see the letter..the pixel 1 cant reli see it..like wat money says..nid to go near to figure out.. whereas the home icon.. it is good that u add a chimney and astro thingy there..if not..i duno that is a home. haha.
    3. the finishing is ok
    4. the contact 1..the envelope there..the finishing not that good...the line din touch the bottom left corner edge..
    5. a
    6. the pixel contact..mayb u can make the letter bigger..or make ur turtle's leg wider/lower apart..coz..it kinda cover the envelope a bit d..so quite hard to recognize the envelope..haha..u adjust a bit la..

    (6)The 1st one is excellent, but the second in my own perception la..I think there is still space for improving cuz,the shell of d turtle with a radar and something thats appears only in rooftop..the combination does not really
    relates with the 1st pic..

    (3)c, about the turtle shell, the house din really look like house while look like an arrow pointing upside....can change a bit la...
    (4)b, but the house can be more improved la...hehe...as i mention before...

    (6)maybe can add more things into ur house icon...hehe...is optional la..but overall is nice...:)

    2. can recognice turtle and turtle shell. others maybe not enough strong.

    3. can say finish also cannot say haven finish.
    u think about it ba. the turtle is ok de.

    4. also turtle ok. u think about your turtle shell home ba.

    5. overall ok. but the colour of the vector letter cant really recognice it although colour is quite match with the turtle. u think about it ~

    6. i think your vector house can add on more details. will looks more nice.


    your turtle is cute ^^
    but why is he not smile ?
    u haven feed him ?

    2. The pixel icons were little hard to make out at first, but overall, it looks good.
    3. Well done! The pixel workmanship is very good! Well made, just a little hard to recognise, but still can recognise lah. Just have to think a little bit.
    4. Well done! Very nice vector icons, graphics are very attractive. but maybe the shape of the envelope can be improved. But so cute.
    5. Colour combination is excellent. Everything combines very well together.
    6. For the first icon assignment, I think you have done a very good job. ^_^

    6) vector home abit too simple... if can add-on more or goss effect on the shell, i think is better, anyway...overall really nice!!

    - omg... the 2 things above it looks like juz paste on it...
    - the tail...kena squeeze till flat, out frm d line?

    i think ah ur home can add a door there then more like home lo... then the letter can change to another colour i think, but then u like ur turtlr very much coz like he really watching at u and the eyes is water-wateri... hahaha

    6)Hmm.. i think the icons looked great, but maybe as what chien chien said, enhance bit more on the highlights? and the home icon needs time to recognize, so maybe can add more 'home elements' to it XD lolxx.. yea, other than that, i think should be alright =)

    2.A)can recognise for both but pixel section
    graph (a)contact seem not look very well
    but you did great job.Well,Improvement
    Needed!
    3.A)Well done,but on my sight view,your pixel
    icon doesn't look very well on what it's
    especially contact seem a bit corrupted
    make it look like *green lizard*.No
    offense.

    4.A)Well done,i suggest vector contact *turtle*
    hand prefer out of shell and behind letter
    shell seem look empty than front shell.
    Try change colour or add line on it.

    5.B)average,normal & colour affected look icon
    like *keroro wearing shell*.

    6.it's well done masterpiece,i'm not well on
    judgement,any offense (forgive) LoL! vector
    is very good for sure just need little
    adjustment to make it better but your pixel
    seem doesn't look very well and still a
    hardwork for yourself to improve.Good Job

    1) c. Turtle. Yahhhhh!

    2) c. can just vector
    - At first glance I could only recognise the vector Contacts. The Home one I didn't know, partly is also because the satellite dish confuses me.
    - Pixel Contacts, the letter has to be more obvious I think, if not also cannot tell what the turtle is holding.

    3) c.
    - It's ok actually, but maybe you can play more on the lighting for the pixel icons. More highlights/shadows or something.

    4) c. (Good, but can be a bit better)
    - Highlight/shadow again. Make it stronger, maybe? Like, the bottom, brown part of the shell in Home icon is pretty plain.

    5)a.
    - Well, what other colours can you put for turtles, right? x.x

    6) Generally it's nice la, and of course there is room for improvement. Home can have better design to show its function. (Actually now only I realise that the 'arrow' is suppose to be a house...?)
